ARC--Assemblages Recycle Competition 2020
The 2nd Annual ARC is a Juneau-Gastineau Rotary (JGR) Club fundraising event with all proceeds benefiting our Club’s youth activities and programs; our youth activities and programs are at the heart of our Club. All building parts are provided for you to build an awesome Bot type Assemblage. You will have tons of fun. There are lots of Fabulous Alaska Adventure Prizes thanks to Alaska Seaplanes, Gastineau Guiding, Temsco, and Wings Airways.
Our Assemblages Recycle Competition (ARC) has two (2) parts:
- The first part is a 4-person team contest that is a timed live event. Teams will build Assemblage piece(s), often but not always as a “robot” type of sculpture all from provided materials within the allotted time. Each team will receive a main ingredient just prior to the start which must be used in their assemblage.
- The second part is a Call for Artists to create a piece, prior to the event, to be entered into the ARC Juried Show.
