Our August 28 meeting was a great example of Rotary in action—filled with learning, fellowship, service, and a warm welcome to new members.
Our guest speaker, Jenna Jepson from Alzheimer Calgary, delivered an inspiring presentation on brain health, dementia support, and the importance of staying active, connected, and engaged. Her message that a diagnosis should open doors to support, not close doors to belonging really resonated with our members.
We were also pleased to welcome Bryan Lane as our newest Rotarian, and to meet our new Rotary Youth Exchange student from the Netherlands. Both bring enthusiasm and a strong desire to become involved in our community.
The meeting also highlighted several exciting upcoming opportunities, including our September 4 Truth and Reconciliation presentation, the September 19 visit to the Urban Society for Aboriginal Youth, and our new Paul Harris Citizenship Award initiative.
Enjoy the video highlights from the meeting! We’re still working through some troublesome video quality issues, so we appreciate your patience as we work to improve the recordings.
Another great Friday morning of fellowship, service, and making a difference!
