Fellowship & Fun Ahead

City & Country Winery Night
Thursday, January 29 | 7–9 pm
Enjoy a sparkling welcome drink, guided tasting of four wines, charcuterie pairings, and a behind-the-scenes winery tour — all for $49.

Blanket Exercise
Saturday, January 17 | 1–4 pm
A powerful, participatory learning experience that is educational, emotional, and unforgettable.

Service in Action

Global Grant Approved
RCCHP approved a $2,000 contribution to the Technology for Teachers Global Grant in rural Guatemala, supporting teacher training, internet access, and digital tools for classrooms.

PolioPlus Society
Help us grow our club’s PolioPlus participation! A $100 USD annual pledge supports Rotary’s top humanitarian priority — eradicating polio.

Financial Highlights

• Net earnings of just over $13,000

• Cash and investments increased by $60,000

• Strong fundraising results from the Art Sale, Wines of the World, and Flower Sales

• Casino revenues continue to be carefully managed and smoothed over two years

Education Support

$3,000 SAIT Scholarship Presented
RCCHP proudly presented a scholarship cheque to SAIT, supporting students who might not otherwise be able to complete their programs.

Membership & Engagement

• Ginny Murphy will step into the role of Director of Membership

• New and returning member applications are under review

• Focus on engagement beyond meeting attendance — committees, mentoring, and service all count

• Members not currently on committees will be invited to participate

Club Update

The Board shared an update on a long-standing matter involving former members. After extensive efforts, the process has been concluded, allowing the club to focus fully on service, fellowship, and a respectful club culture. Anti-harassment policies and education are being strengthened.

ClubRunner Update

A transition to a new ClubRunner system is coming. Billing up to this point will be issued earlier than usual to ensure a smooth changeover.
