Bits and Pieces
Here are some things you missed at the meeting:

Our speakers today were from the Census Bureau.  Please help promote completing the 2020 census.  For more information and promotional materials, contact our speaker:
Vivian Winterhoff  at 971-280-3528 or by email at:  vivian.k.winterhoff@2020census.gov

President Smith reminded us we should  be wearing our pins to these meetings.  Be prepared to be fined!

Becky Colpitts thanked all those able to work on the Remich Park Projects.

Nanci Carney reported the fitness trail signs for Remich Park  have been delivered , but the paving will probably not be done til spring.  She reports they look good and have the Rotary symbols on them.  (For those of you who forgot, this was a project from a past year that kept getting delayed.)

Member Health Reports:

Ruth Hamilton had a bad fall.  She is recuperating and glad to know (post meeting information) that nothing was broken.

Nanci Carney will be taking medical leave in a week and asked for healing thoughts and prayers.  She will be away 2-6 weeks, depending on the results of her procedure

Rotarian remembrances:

Town of Littleton Elections
According to town manager Andrew Dorsett, they are designing an election process based on the NH elections guidelines.  An absentee ballot is being designed for those who do not want to wear PPE.  Folks  can pick it up, fill it out in their car and return it to the polling place without having to wear a mask and gloves.  The state authorized a new box on the absentee ballot:  a check for Covid as a reason for filing an absentee ballott.
Are you are Littleton resident?  Wish to volunteer for elections help?  Contact :  jwhite@townoflittleton.org  and leave a message if you wish to help out at Littleton elections.

Happy Dollars Needed!
Chrissy had a great idea.  Send a few dollars ( $25, $50, or ??) to Shannon McKee for your happy dollar contributions!  These funds are used for club only purposes; they are not part of the fundraising for charitable contributions or for scholarships.  Be generous.  Brag,  Share other significant events with your fellow Rotarians.  (Send a check made payable to Rotary Club of Littleton to:  Shannon McKee, Littleton Rotary Club, PO  Box 785, Littleton, NH  03561 or drop an envelope at Woodsville Savings Bank drive up window, marked Attention":  Shannon McKee.  (The bank is located on  Cottage Street, Littleton, NH  03561)

A few highlights of happys from the last meeting:

Kate Vaughan continued her bear story. Fish and Game trapped the bear after it entered 3 or 4 porches at Maplewood.  The bear came to the former Tim Bar’s Restaurant owners front door, and got into the living room while she was cooking.  He scared the bear away.

Chad Stearns is happy on the community build for the Remich Park.  He is hopeful there will be more projects with community volunteer support.  Andrew Dorsett added that Lowe's sent a large crew to help on Monday.
