President’s Report from New President Heather Lohr!
Heather welcomed our visiting Rotarians. She started by passing around a report for the club with your committee obligations on it for each member to check or cross off. She is excited for the opportunity for three friendship exchanges – with Grand Manan, Summerside, and Calgary. Elva is the point person for the friendship exchanges and is just waiting on some info from the other clubs. She can use help with organizing, so if you'd like to help get in touch!

Heather reported that from the President’s meeting she learned about the ClubRunner app – it is great to use and she would encourage others to check it out if you haven’t already.
She is also excited that we re officially District 7815 and Harvey Bass is our new District Governor. Our “Area” is now called the “Bay of Fundy” Area and consists of seven clubs. In the fall there will be the chance to have a combined meeting for all seven clubs and have Harvey Bass visit the area meeting.
Heather pointed out a few other items: Kelly is heading up all things financial and so if you have dues, receipts, etc. that can all go to Kelly or in her absence to Rick Graham. She pointed out that Katie was doing a good job with the Spokesperson (thank you Heather! 😊), and that there is an active group working on issues around food security with the NKEC school. They are excited to be moving forward with it.

Finally, Past President Bill Denyar presented Heather Lohr with a President’s pin from the International Conference (that Sue Ueffing gets and brings home every year! Thank you, Sue!). Heather then presented pins to the rest of the new board for this year.

Committee Reports:
Sue – Events – August 6th there will be a Polio Plus BBQ, it’s a family event (bring kids and grandkids!). BBQ Chicken at the Ueffing’s cottage or house! Anytime after 4:30pm.
Pierre – Environmental – Hoping that the Environmental Day will be an annual event. Pierre’s new “title” should be Environment Minister.
Phil - Tulips – Shelley has sold 82 boxes so far! There are two weeks left, e-transfer the money to Phil or give a cheque.
Valley Faces – We are basically sold out!! We have two extra pages for editorial content this year, to highlight the work the clubs have done. Thank you to all the hard work of the Valley Faces committee.
Wally - PWD – There is a photo op with the new Brigadoon Gater (that PWD supported) next Monday at 2pm, right after the meeting. PWD needs new members, please let Wally know if you’d like to join!
