Rotary International has been working to e radicate polio globally for over 45 years. Today\, polio remains endemic i n Pakistan and Afganistan\, and variant polio outbreaks threaten the progr ess we have made against the disease. As long as polio exists anywhere\, i t is a threat to children everywhere. We'll be serving a barbecued chicken dinner prepared by the Centreville Baptist Church.  You'll learn about t he current state of the End Polio Now campaign and as always enjoy fellows hip with fellow Rotarians and friends. Please register by September 14.  The cost for the event is $50 with net proceeds supporting the End Polio N ow campaign.  Please etransfer your payment to Karen Corey\, karen@vermeu lenfarms.com.   If you don't eat chicken\, make a note in the comments s ection.  We will have a vegetarian option available.
