Crawfish Boil
The Rotary Club of Galveston’s 10th Annual Rotary Club of Galveston Crawfish Boil - originally set for Sunday, April 19 at Moody Gardens - has been postponed. Event organizers are planning to reschedule this popular event for a later date.
Presented by the Dr. Leon Bromberg Charitable Trust Fund, this fun, family event will take place at Moody Gardens - under the Big White Tent behind the Discovery Pyramid. The Lighthouse Charity Cooking Team - under the direction of Rotarian Scott Gordon and his talented crew – will again prepare their signature Cajun-spicy crawfish and/or the specially-seasoned hot boiled shrimp dinners – with all the trimmings. Additional popular menu items and cold beverages will also be available.
For the past 107 years, the Rotary Club of Galveston has subscribed to the motto "Service Above Self.” Again, this year, proceeds from this event will directly benefit the Galveston community's many vital humanitarian and educational projects and programs. Look forward to a delightful afternoon of great food, live Zydeco music, exciting contests, raffle, activities for youngsters, and plenty of fun and fellowship for all attendees. There is no admission charge to attend the event.
“As soon as we get the new date set, we’ll announce to our community and advise when/where tickets will be on sale. On behalf of our entire Rotary Club of Galveston, we all look forward to welcoming back our past patrons and welcoming new visitors and families to this year’s 10th annual event,” noted Scott Livanec, Event Chair.
