The Rotary Club of Galveston supports Meals on Wheels and Toys for Tots.
Every December, the Rotary Club of Galveston has a Family Day program. Members bring unwrapped toys for the local Marine Toys for Tots drive and hear from the local Meals on Wheels program about the good cheer, fellowship and meals they have delivered during the year. At this meeting we pass the basket for personal donations to the Meals on Wheels program. In addition, local musicians perform holiday music. At a subsequent meeting the Club is told how much was collected. This year, we raised over $8,500.00.
