Members of the Rotary Club of Galveston, and their families and friends, participated in the recent "Adopt -a -Beach" event held September 17th. Established in 1986, and sponsored by the Texas General Land Office, this program has been one of the most successful volunteer efforts in the nation to clean up trash from Texas beaches.
