After a three-year absence, the Rotary Club of Galveston will host its 10th Annual Rotary Crawfish Boil Sunday, May 1, from 12 noon-4pm at Moody Gardens. Presented by the Dr. Leon Bromberg Charitable Trust Fund, proceeds from this special fundraising event will benefit directly many of the Galveston community’s vital humanitarian and education projects and programs. The Crawfish Boil will be held this year in the spacious Breezeway – between the Convention Center and the parking garage, with plenty of parking space available. Everyone can look forward to a delightful afternoon of great Cajun food, live Zydeco music, fun activities and contests, and a full afternoon of fellowship with family and friends. Crawfish plate tickets are $25 in advance; $30 at the door. Crawfish or shrimp plate tickets are available through Rotary Club of Galveston members, at the Galveston Chamber of Commerce office, 2228 Mechanic Street (Suite #101); by calling the Chamber office at 409.763.5326, or purchasing on line at www.galvestonchamber.com.
