What is The Dayton Rotary Club all about?
· We meet every Thursday at noon at the Dayton Community center.
· We have a speaker at every meeting
· Our Dues are $60.00 per month (that includes the cost of your lunches)
· We bill quarterly
· We have 3 fundraisers a year (usually) Gumbo luncheon in Jan, Barbeque in April and a Fish Fry in November.
· Each member is expected to work at the fundraiser
· Each member is expected to sell 18 tickets per fundraiser (prices from $7 to $10) or you can buy them yourself and give them away..
· We help fund many activities in Dayton, including scholarships (5 at $1000) for Dayton High School Seniors, Friends of Scouting, The food pantry, The Jingle Bells Ball and many other worthwhile projects.
· It is a great place to make new friends and catch up with old ones
· We have 2 socials a year, a summer social and a Christmas Party
· We are a part of Rotary International which funds many International projects and our biggest accomplishment is to come very close to eradicating Polio.
