Sherry Wells is introducing Ms. Ella Johnston-Leger as a possible candidate for membership in the Spindletop Rotary Club. Ms. Johnston-Leger is the Owner of Leger Whole Body Health and has had no prior affiliation with Rotary International. Club classification would be Health & Wellness. First Printing.

Bobby Chapman and Karen Chapman were both asked to speak at the District 5910 Mid-Year Meeting held at Lone Star Community College in Montgomery.
 
Karen spoke on engaging and increasing club membership. During Karen's presidency the Spindletop Rotary Club was ranked #1 in attaining new members! Attendees left "fired up" after her inspirational presentation. 
 
Bobby spoke regarding the Rotary Foundation, what Rotary.org has to offer your club and the District Grants that are available. Bobby serves as D5910 Co-Chair for District Grants.

Soap Box Derby
The 17th annual Southeast Texas All-American Soap Box Derby is fast approaching and it's time to get things "rolling" again. Derby Weekend is May 4-6, 2018.
 
Our first planning meeting will be held on:

If you are a new member of our Club or have not helped with the Derby before and are able to attend the meeting, you will gain insight into the planning and scope of the project. This is our club's signature project and we need everyone's involvement.
