My New Liver

Simon and Cassie have lived in Cupertino for over 24 years, the year Cassie was born. Simon is an entrepreneur currently running a cloud-based software company for the childcare industry. Cassie attended Collins, Lawson and Cupertino High and recently graduated from University of Washington with a degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Education. Simon's wife, Winnie, works at Apple. They have another daughter, Connie, currently attending Cal Poly Pomona.

Cassie was born with a congenital liver disorder called Biliary Atresia. Simon was able to donate a part of his liver to Cassie in 2010.   Based on their personal experience and desire to give back, Simon and Cassie recently started My New Liver Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, to promote awareness of the awesome fact that the human liver is the only human organ that regenerates which allows any healthy person the potential to save others who are in need of a new liver to survive.  My New Liver also offers a number of services to help the adult living donors and child recipients.
