Pantry Clean Up: Barbara – thank you to all the volunteers who helped clean out the WSCS pantry.

John Burzirs– Ride 4 Diabetes – Lions club is hosting event on 9/8. Looking for participants and volunteers. Event is both a ride and walk and is family friendly.
Rotary exchange Rotary club in Ecuador. There is only one club in Ecuador. Projects include working with a women’s shelter. One of the projects at the shelter was building a green house on the property. Food security is an issue so building a greenhouse will help mitigate this issue. Signature cupcakes are made for all events as part of a fundraiser. Women from the shelter bake them. Trip is being planned for next March or April.

The request for 2019-20 in your Annual Commitment statement indicates a $200 minimal commitment is “optional.” In truth, all our giving to Cupertino Rotary is optional except your annual dues. The facts uncover the generosity of our club members in so many ways.
You know a strong club is a sustainable club-and we certainly have been building such a club in the projects we do and the talent we bring to our many and varied services. Your financial support is personal. We understand that. It is vital as well. Continue to consider what you are able to do.
