Inspiration:  Ranga Nathan shared his thoughts on what inspired him to become a US citizen, having lived in India and Singapore, and hoped to become the change he wishes to see in the USA, as we truly become the “United States of America”. Check it out here.
Presidents ClubVardy Shtein –  Shared his diagnosis and remission from skin cancer.  Vardy also became a citizen in 1998 after joining the Rotary, Ranga Nathan being the second. Check out his speech here.
Bev Lenihan – Honored her brother and Uncle, and announced the Tom Dyer memorial program. Received a gift from the Sakai family to fund the program.
Dennis Whittaker shared a tribute  to Tom, and his personal experience of what it means to be a veteran.

Operation Care and Comfort – Nov 6th and 7th. April Bignell shared some video highlights - over 100 care packages shipped to US troops overseas, along with cards and letters.

Red Badge Talk
Julie Griswold-Sahota  shared her story about being from San Leandro, and then moving to Saratoga. Started volunteering at the YMCA, graduated college in 2000. Worked at the Y, corporate life at HP, but found her true calling in non-profit work at the Y.
Fundraising Reports:
Annual TRF Campaign Update – Joe Ribera announced that we are 100% funded at $60000 and 84% participation.
Family Fall Festival -  Brought out a recognition book to thank our sponsors, and raised over $35000, more than the regular fall festival. Thanks to PDG Orrin and Jo Lucey for their great work.
