President’s Club: Rick Kitson joined the President’s Club to announce that Bill Wilson will be receiving the Bridge Award 2023 for Outstanding Individual Achievement in honor of his long service on the FUHSD School Board. Congratulations Bill!

Steve Lefevre recapped the LED Bulb replacement project update for West Valley Community Services. It was the first project of the year the Climate Action Committee. This project replaced all the exterior lights to LED bulbs. It took 7 Rotarians to screw in all those lightbulbs!

District News: District Conference will be held April 29th from 8:00 - 10:30pm at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View. The cost is $20 to attend the sessions, $150 to include meals if you register this month. To register visit the district 5170 website.
Partner Announcements: Inner wheel – Nancy Harper announced that the 6 Inner Wheel Clubs of our district are holding a fundraiser at the Inner Wheel USA Foundation on February 26th, to benefit the Hanger Clinic. This clinic provides upper body myoelectric limbs for children under age 18. Inner Wheel will be selling raffle tickets at the next two meetings – Feb 1 and 8th, $10 for 6 tickets for a chance to win one of several fabulous baskets.

Steve Onishi announced the Ukraine benefit is taking place Sunday, January 29th at the Rotary Summit Center in San Jose to raise funds to benefit the Ukraine.
Cupertino State of the City Address will be held on Feb 15th at 5:30pm at Quinlan Community Center. Our own Mayor Hung Wei and our other council members will be bringing us up to date with the city’s vision. Cocktail hour starts at 5:30 with the meeting following. Please register here.
