Dr. Seuss Reading Day - March 2
Louisa Roberts invites Rotarians to be a part of the Dr. Seuss reading tradition, the morning on March 2 .  It is Read across America day and Rotarians will be visiting kindergarten and first graders in local schools.
 
Sign-ups will be available soon on online.  We will be reading “Horse museum” for First Grade classes and “Come on over to my house” for kindergartens.  
 
 
Henry Buffalow spoke about the Community Service event for February--
WVCS Valentine’s Day Celebration for low income and homeless clients of WVCS Feb 14 1-3pm.  A few Rotarians are needed as helpers. Contact Josh Selo if you can help. 
 
On March 17 Animal Assisted Happiness at LiveOak will run from 11am-2pm at Live Oak on the Campus of Saint Jude’s Episcopal Church.  Help enrich the lives of older adults through animal interactions!  Goats, rabbits, and more visit with local older adults - and you can help make that happen.
 
 
Wil Fluewelling announced the meaningful Monta Vista veterans bio program will be March 4, from 9 to noon.  Rotarian volunteers are needed to help coordinate the activity which has students recording the stories of veterans and their experiences.  This is the valued program whose faculty leaders in January thanked Tom Dyer for helping start.
