Lieutenant Samuel England is a graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy. He is an experienced Coast Guard helicopter pilot stationed in San Francisco and will share with us the various responsibilities  the Coast Guard has to ensure our safety and the safety of our coastline and waterways including drug enforcement and rescue operations. 

 

Lieutenant Samuel England received his commission from the Coast Guard Academy in 2010.  His first assignment was as a Deck Watch Officer aboard CGC DEPENDABLE out of Cape May, NJ.  Following this afloat tour, he was assigned as a Marine Inspector at Sector HOUSTON-GALVESTON, Houston, TX before reporting to Naval Flight Training in Pensacola, Florida, where he earned his wings of gold in November 2015.

 

Following flight school, Lieutenant England reported to Air Station San Francisco, CA where he is qualified as a MH-65D First Pilot.  During this tour, he has performed over 50 search and rescue missions and recorded seven lives saved.

 

Lieutenant England has a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from the Coast Guard Academy.  His personal awards include the Coast Guard Commendation Medal and Achievement Medal.

 

Lieutenant England was born and raised in Grand Prairie, TX and has one brother, Charlie, who is also a Lieutenant in the U.S. Coast Guard.
