Did you know that only about 1 in 40 people who need hearing aids have them? Help us help those in need.

In an effort to improve hearing health in Southern Arizona, the Rotary Club of Oro Valley (RCOV) has teamed with the Grace Hearing Center (GHC) also of Oro Valley address hearing health issues.  The outcomes look promising.

The RCOV together with Rotary District 5500 put up $10,000 to help the Grace Hearing Center buy some mobile hearing testing equipment. This allows the GHC to do hearing testing in remote locations such as schools, reservations, small towns, etc. that are not well served by for-profit audiology companies.

The RCOV is also conducting a hearing aid drive throughout Southern Arizona. These hearing aids will be reconditioned & distributed to those in need. If you have hearing aids you no longer need, please consider donating them. In the greater Tucson area, please call Anne Natale at 520-825-4770 or Gary Coxon at 520-638-5749 to arrange for pickup. For areas outside of the Tucson area, please mail your used hearing aids to The Grace hearing Center; 2542 E. Vistoso Commerce Loop, Oro Valley, AZ 85755. Include your name and address to receive a tax deductible receipt.

The GHC is the only not for profit 501©3 audiology company in Southern Arizona. It is owned and operated by Dr. Judy Huch, audiologist. The RCOV is always looking for new members interested in helping on local and international projects. If you are interested in helping make a better world, please contact Gary Coxon (520-638-5749) or Saad Allawi (520-229-3499) for information about membership.
