Bob H. -2 events are being planned:
Twins Stadium tour on Saturday, April 16 from 10 a.m. until noon – followed by lunch at Hopkins Auto Body.
U of M Athletic Village training facilities sometime in the first 2 weeks of June. Details are still being worked out, but this will entail a 2 hour tour, somewhere starting between 11 and noon and ending at 1 or 2 p.m. It would be on a weekday, likely a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. This event is only for guests older than high school age.
The plan is to limit the Twins event to 50 people max and the U of M event to 60 max. The fee for these events will maybe be $50 per person. A committee will work on the details. All money raised will be for polio, and the committee will look at any matching grants that might be available.
