Mark Marlin announced that the club earned $2,282 from our Rock the Ridgedale event.
Katy Fisk and Stacey Quinn announced a contest for fighting polio. When an end polio box is filled with $20, the club member receives a red bracelet. There will be a surprise grand prize for the person who achieves the highest dollar value of other people’s money.
Chris Rosenlund made a pitch for Rotary International pledges from members. Chris noted that he shamelessly likes to get his picture taken with donors.
Terry Schneider, who was celebrating his birthday Wednesday, won $206 in the raffle.
An abbreviated Happy Bucks session was led by Roger Johnson. Among the happy Rotarians were Jerald Steile, Pete Giancola, Bob Hersman, Teresa Kuvaas, Alexa Rundquist, Regina Reed, NEW MOM Sara Edwards, Terry Schneider, and Char Murphy. Mac Hardin reported that $88 was raised Wednesday via Happy Bucks.
Bill Knab and Diana Walker gave vocationals. Included in the vocationals of this married couple were information about the 5 children and 10 grandkids in their blended family, their love of sports, Diana’s love of dogs, and their recreational activities. Diana wears a bicycle helmet when she goes ice skating. They also like sailing, skiing and bicycling.
