Scott J. handed out a challenge “End Polio Now” since we exceeded last years goal  He asked that monies be submitted by 1/15/2020 to matching funds.
 
Minnetonka Rotary’s Board agreed to “front” the money to get ahead of every other club in 5950.

Prior Lake Rotary international travel opportunity raised again for anyone looking to travel internationally.
 
Assistance League was given a grant by the Foundation.

Pete G. - Thanks for everyone’s calls, cards and attendance at mom’s funeral.
 
Mark Mag. flew to CA with Pau and visited kids and celebrated everyone being together.
 
Ann W. visited "BRRR midji" to visit kids and grand kids will be selling their home and moving to Victoria.
 
Regina R. thanks for snowing stopping . Polio fund raising and thanking everyone for helping after being raised in a 3 room schoolhouse in Mississippi and being the no#1 fundraiser
 
Florianne N. and Frank B. going to Blake School to speak about international trips.
 
Theresa K. and thanking Jacob M.  for getting kids on the bus and on time. Good job Jacob we all knew you could do it we were all pulling for Ya!
 
Theresa K.  and Jacob M. traveling to Chicago and getting through white knuckle driving in Wisconsin.
 
Char M. and being so kind to take a cart in the  elevator down to the lower level for a millennial and having them open the garage door for her while she pushed his cart then jumping into his vehicle.
 
Florrianne N. - The rebuilt greenhouse  is flourishing.
 
Bill S.'s  son decided to get engaged in the mountains of Colorado Congratulations!
 
Sam S. - Taking on a 3 year old from AZ who loved playing in the snow.
 
Nancy D - Planning trips to Alaska to walking trails.
 
Mary T. visited daughter Cal State  professor and other daughter from Oregon and had a great time.
 
Bob H. visited Seattle and was just stopping by to visit before heading to AZ on a golf excursion. “Good People Club” his term for our club.
 
Chris R. with the interesting way to pronounce Oregon  O..R..Y..g..e..n with Mary T. Hockey season started with Axel in nets and a win over Cretin Durham Hall, leaving Insperity to become a team manager last day was today. New job starts on 12/16/2019.
 
Mike G.'s kid is playing professional league hockey in the Czech Republic.
 
Lenny N. -  16 people got together to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.
 
Stacy Q. spent Thanksgiving with 25 people in NC on an island with sand and seashells by the seashore say that three times fast whew! Excited Mike Glover  came forward to run for an officer position.
 
Ron U. gave an impromptu Rotary minute to thank the Foundation for supporting U of MN outward bound  for kids and McPhail funding for kids in music big thanks to the Foundation!
Program 
 
Alex Fisher vocational.
 
Has three children. Father had untreated depression all of his adult life and is no longer with us. Attended Blake High School and even had testamentary pictures with hair proving he had hair at a time in the past.
 
Studied Spanish and Psychology.
 
Taught at Mendenhall Middle School after graduation in CA  1st job. Taught at Hopkins 9 years to students unfamiliar with English.
 
Went to  Roseville as a manager to work with adult education.
 
In June of 2019 was hired to replace Katie Williams at Hopkins community education teaches everything except K-12. 
 
Bob Fink vocational
 
Moved to Minnetonka 5 mos ago and lives near Opus. 6 kids and 8 grandchildren. 
Married two women with both the first name and middle name being the same what are the odds on that one? Wife Cindy is an HR manager and glad of the shortened drive to work.
 
Born in Minneapolis. Father was a Police Officer for the city of Minneapolis. Has an older brother and sister.
 
Attended Benilde High school. Went to the University of Pennsylvania got a degree in accounting but most importantly played HOCKEY! Senior year was deemed Athlete of the year. 
 
Graduated and became a CPA for a very short period of time then went and got a degree on Physical Therapy.  Was the Varsity Hockey coach at PIT?
 
Got an MBA and became a clinic manager at Fairview then TRIA. 
 
Ran the Young entrepreneur Academy for Lakeville.
 
Was on the board for the Lakeville arena’s running two arenas.
 
Tutors 2nd graders.
 
Looking to build a lake home in Monticello.
 
Fundraising
 
The meeting was ended with President Stacy informing us we had raised even more money for building responsible youth.
