  • Chris R: happy to receive Paul Harris award. Chris is doing a brief presentation for our commitment to Rotary
  • Frank: went to CA to visit mom for her birthday and visited sister
  • Patty: tomorrow night going to Hamilton. Son is coming to visit at the show.
  • Terry: went to NE for reunion, got to tour stadium
  • Katie: Old wooden boat was on the lake, boat sinks and 90-year-old man fully clothed was swimming but not by choice. Someone from her group went out in kayak to save him and he is now fine; friend told a 90 year old lady to get off you’re a$$ and do something, so she went shopping for 6 hours. She self-reflected and agreed she had to tell herself this. So, Katie says the phrase of the day is “get off you’re a$$ and do something!”
  • Guy: happy to get 5th new member application
  • Nancy: going to Winona to bike for 100 miles
  • Cathy: John Melander invited to talk to Saturday’s game and motivate
  • Alexa: Nolan having surgery, asking for prayers
  • Regina: Was in Mississippi for 81st family reunion, got to meet the Mississippi state Rotary president and exchanged flags.
  • Gerald: Cameron’s first cross country meet and ran the 5k with his best time; switching insurance companies because he was promised to win raffle and did not
  • Scott: Chris Carr has done great running the annual fundraiser

John Rubischko currently is a Regional Sales Director for Financial Education Services (FES).  A nationwide company focused on Financial Fitness and helping people get back on track to live an easier life.  John is currently writing a book titled “Life Without Bars” and is active on various ministries through his church.  John recently became a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Speaker, Trainer.   John enjoys teaching and coaching others on perils of the slippery slope of chasing money for happiness.  John previously owned his own Mortgage Company and held his real estate license for close to 13 years.  Now he helps people avoid the mistakes he made and a life FREE from DEBT to be financially secure.    John also enjoyed successful jobs as a National Accounts Manager for a food distribution company and worked in the Truck Leasing business for many years after leaving college. 

John grew up in Hutchinson, MN as the youngest of 4 siblings & 63 grandchildren.  John is currently married and has three children while living in Woodbury.   John was active in sports in high school and that continued into college where John attended St John’s University in Collegeville, MN.  John was a Senior Captain on the Football team and played tennis for 2 years, he still remains active and enjoys physical fitness.   John lived overseas in London, England and Singapore, where he focused on his degree studies of International Management.   He continued on to the University of St Thomas to work on his Masters in International Management.
