Speaker: Chris Carr on the Golf Fundraiser
15-day countdown – September 12th
Jerald S. - Raffle
Raffle ticket sales are slow – very slow.
Go to other Rotary club meetings, many have been sold at these meetings. Alexa will send out the link sign up for going to those meetings.
Turn in as many sold books as you can at the next two meetings before the fundraiser.
Must turn in both sold and unsold books. We will sell tickets the day of the event too.
Cathy C. - Auction baskets.
Turn in your baskets before the tournament unless you are arriving at the tournament with an assembled basket.
Go to places that you do business and ask, and get logos that we’ll include for people to see at the silent auction. Let Cathy know what you’re doing so the bid sheets and displays can be prepared.
If you have some paper bags at home, bring some.
Bill S. - Libations
We are in really good shape for libations – Excelsior, LTD, Unmapped, Wayzata Brew Works, Boom Island, Freehouse, Max Liquors, J. Carver Distillery
Alexa R. - Registration
14 sponsors
27 individual golfers
6 dinner-only registries
If we are going to do online registration, let’s commit to it because it’s a lot of work to build-out.
Dr. Bob H. – Golf
Course is ready to go. Recycling will be available.
Sign up in advance, please register online.
68 golfers that Bob H. knows about, he needs to reconcile to the online registrations.
If you or someone in your foursome needs a golf cart, call Glen Lake the day-of to reserve one.
If you’re sponsoring, make sure Chris C. gets your logo soon for course or website signage.
Need someone to stand at the hole-in-one hole to monitor the shots.
If you’re going to the event but not playing golf, be sure you register so that Culvers has the right amount of food.
Please sign up for volunteering to help.
