Program
Carter Staaf, a detective with the EP Police Dept. Topic today; Sex Trafficing
Every county in MN, and almost everywhere in the country has this activity. The Twin Cities is one of the Hotspots.
The word is more accurately 'prostituted ', as most of the victims are under some from of Force.
The study of Pimpology; that can apply to many other areas, where there is some coercion to perform, or a form of fraud.
There can be cracks of vulnerability in the victims; lack of money, home life, self-esteem, drugs, and lack of love.
Force is strong motivator, where even other family members can be drawn in. The victims have little control the situation
A rapport is established by the Pimp, which leads to a dependency. It isn't uncommon in may other areas of life, where sales, relationships, emotions are compromised by control or force.
We should all refocus our 'lens of life', and begin to see where problems exist. Call 911 if you see something.
Thank you, Carter, for your very experienced work in this continuing problem, and your talk today.
