Jerald S.: Raffle tickets must be turned in by day of Tournament.

Chris R.: Golf Sponsorships sold out. Hole Sponsorships still available. Email namers of Sponsor guests to Chris.

Alexa R.: Make sure you are registered if planning to attend.

Jennifer St. C.: Tournament work volunteers still needed, especially for parking and cart clean up.

Tracy S.: Keep encouraging friends and family to attend, If just for meal, drinks, and auction.

Program

Speaker 1: Alexa introduced Armstrong H.S. student Natalie Schmidkamp, who attended Rotary Youth Leadership Award Camp.

Natalie is a member of BSA Troop 477. Her experience at the camp exceeded her expectations, and she enjoyed the speakers and activities, especially the Team Building challenges. She learned about the Youth Exchange Program and intends to apply for this in her Senior year. She plans on going into Environmental Sciences/Geology and would like to attend college in the Pacific Northwest.

Speaker 2: Tony introduced Megan O'Leary and Jeremy Kunkel of CHOPS, a steel drum based music nonprofit which is the recipient of a $1,000 Foundation Grant.

Jeremy explained the origin, design and craftsmanship involved with each steel drum, and the different sizes necessary to have a band., CHOPS began in 2014 and now interacts with 1500 students annually, most from Title I high schools in the metro area. He demonstrated the drums by playing a couple of numbers.

Adjournment

The polio can collected $48, and Happy Bucks generated $47.

Pres. Alissa adjourned the meeting at 8:30.
