Jennifer S. - 10 of us helped at ‘Mulch Madness last Thursday, mulched 30 trees at Gro-Tonka park. We got our hands dirty, and cooled off a few with a cold beer later. This can become an annual service event.
Alexa R. - we can personalize our Rotary Club shirts orders; sweatshirts, even Plaid!
Also, 2 upcoming Rotary Socks sales opportunities, both on the same day, October 14. Locations are the Arboretum and St. Olaf College in Northfield
Bill S. - Fireside Chat for our MANY new members. Pizza at Mark Magney’s lakeside deck on Aug 31 at 5:00. All members welcome to come and throw in their thoughts on our club.
Alexa R. - the District is sponsoring Lunch and Learn talks every so often. They will be on Zoom. Look for the email and the link. Also, we may be coordinating our service projects with other District clubs.

Nate R. - introduced Patty Santo, a recipient of our Club sponsored Adult Options in Education GED scholarship. Patty got her degree during the trying times of COVID, kids at home, and also working while going to school. She enjoys math, and was able to get a college scholarship to continue her schooling. She is on her way to a chosen career in Accounting. Congratulations, Patty! Our club is happy to have been a part of your success.
