Chris Rosenlund – Thank you to everyone who responded to the velvet hammer email. If you have not responded please do so when you can.
 
Mike G. – Future Roots email sharing the progress of the water project that was a District grant we were part of.
 
Mike G. -Ride for Rotary in India – Bike or 4 Wheeler – Ride around India for 3 weeks and raise money for polio.

Chris Carr - $5 - $4  for a very successful deer hunting season. One participating member was 81. $1 for Jacob.
 
Beth Young – Excited to be an official member. Attended a Blue Grass song writing event. Is excited to travel for Thanksgiving.
 
Mike G. - Boston Conference and will see his daughter. His firm is doing a fundraiser for the perspectives program in SLP.
 
Don C.  – he is going to see the Harvard Yale game which will cause him to miss his first Michigan football game in 31 years.
 
Program
 
Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office:
  • Investigate all sudden and or unnatural deaths in the county.
  • Available 24/7/365.
  • Completely independent of law enforcement or county officials.
In 2020 – 47 Forensic pathologists took the Board test. In ten years there has been less than 500 new Forensic pathologists.
 
Disparity Reduction – Pathways program to support finding staff. Fee reform to mitigate financial burdens. Self service and remote payment options reducing in-person tasks.
 
Climate Change Work – Remote and Hybrid options, shared workspace, Cloud technology, the new ME facility.
 
New Facility: 2011 they went completely paperless. The state provided $17 million for the new facility.
 
They have deal with Scott and Dakota County.
