Motion passed - when membership dues are processed in January they must be paid timely (no later than the end of the fiscal year) or membership will be in jeopardy.

Subsidized dues - requests must be made in writing to the president, president elect, and secretary for consideration.

Nancy, Guy and Chris will work on policy that allows people to participate in events like Rock Ridgedale and not have to pay dues.

Nancy said a big thank you to Chris, Mark, Alexa, Lenny, and Mac for all they did for the Rock Ridgedale event. We had 34 club members participate and 6 non-members. It was a very successful event. Stay tuned for the financial results!

Dr. Bob let the club know that every Tuesday at LTD $0.40 on every dollar will come back to the club.

Cathy announced that there were leftover items from the golf auction still available and these items will be out on table in the back in the room for the next couple of weeks. Talk to her if you are interested in purchasing any of the items.

A big thank you to those in the club who bought the 5 remaining bottles of wine today (you know who you are :).

October is Polio month - 10/24 is the birth date of Jonas Salk who developed the first safe and effective vaccine for polio.

Dave's ticket was picked but no winner this week. The Pot for next week is at $155.

Nancy - congrats to Shane and thanks to the non-Rotary volunteers that worked at Rock Ridgedale.

Lenny - thankful that we had a safe event at Rock Ridgedale so that we hopefully get asked to come back next year.

Carolyn owns her own business and launched her own product line. She also started the Nonprofit Angel Hair and 40% of the proceeds from one of her products goes directly to the nonprofit. Carolyn is super passionate about helping women with cancer through her salon and Angel Hair. She has 5 children and has lived both here and in California. She is the youngest of 7 children. Ask her about all her fun experiences in California and her skills as an arm wrestler.

thank you to Chris for holding her laptop during her presentation as we were having technical difficulties. Katy is a very introverted person and she set a goal for herself to be more outgoing and meet lots more people and that is why she is so excited to be in Rotary. She graduated from Hopkins High School, did a nanny gig in Boston for a year and eventually moved to Los Angeles. She did come back to Minnesota because she doesn't like earth quakes. She has two children of her own and was also a surrogate mother to twins - wow! Ask her about the year she decided to do sales.
