  • Club Assembly next week. Committee chairs should be ready to report.

    •     $90 million budget.
    •     1.2 million residents served.
    •     70% of Hennepin County residents have library cards
    •     Community embedded service.
    •     Van and pop-up libraries.
    •     Teen Tech Squad.
    •     Early literacy spaces for children.
    •     Resources for job seekers.
    •     Resources for homeless.
    •     Resources for law library.
    •     Outreach services for home bound residents.
    •     All are welcome.
  • Questions and answers:
    • Smart phone apps continually updated.
    • Library cards are a wonderful legacy.
    • Art collections and lending are complex.
    • Museum pass lending became unwieldy to administer
    • New state law changed Director qualification requirements.
    • Minnetonka branch to be under construction for three months.
