Program
Sara introduced our speaker Jim Ikhaml from Gatewood Elementary School.
He spoke about their Outdoor Immersion Program. The goal is for the students to spend 70% of their class time outdoors. They have several areas of hands-on learning”. They have a greenhouse, chickens, goats, woodshop, mud kitchen, digging area and maple syrup production.
