GED graduation is June 10 at 7 PM being held at Eisenhower Community Center Theater. Our very own Katie Williams is the speaker for this event.

The other 1 for celebrating 50 years ago today he received an actual diploma in his folder not a return to math class invitation.
Dr. Bob - happy buck to Cathy Carlson. He just found out that she is the reason no one ever got a food bull at Tuttles! She always quietly took care of if. Also the sign on the table should read "Warning, nuts in the room" not "Warning, nuts in the muffins."

Chris Rosenlund - 5 happy bucks for a good Monday attending the Minnetonka City Council to request the liquor license for this year's Summer Fest. Minnetonka Rotary was granted the license and received positive praise for the work we do. Another happy buck for a good time golfing on Tuesday with Mark and Nate with the Crystal/New Hope/Robbinsdale Rotary Club. The club hosted Elmer's Rotary Classic at Edinborough USA. The trio got in at least 13 holes before the rain.

Mark Magney introduced 3 students from UofM College of Science and Engineering. Dani, Nathan and Ben – These 3 students are part of the mission Engineers Without Borders through the University of Minnesota.
The program partners with communities around the world who apply and qualify for engineering projects that support improving the quality of their community life environmentally and economically. The program works within the community finding solutions to building pipelines for providing healthy, clean water sources for drinking, as well as, building irrigation systems to support farming in mostly mountainous regions.
Deforestation is a troubling challenge in the regions where woodfire cooking is used. The EWB team designed a solar cooker using foil to reflect suns heat on to cooking surface. This is just one example of how the team works with the community to solve life changing environmental challenges
Currently Engineers Without Borders are working in Guatemala and Ethiopia. There is a separate project the students are working on here with the South Minneapolis School District to find solutions to improving transportation and a possible rooftop greenhouse project.
