ROTARY ALUMNI
Bet you didn’t know --- yes, Rotary has the formal label of Alumni.
Who are they?
Alums are anyone who has participated in Interact, Rotaract, Rotary Youth Exchange, RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards), Rotary Fellowships, Rotary Scholarships, vocational training teams (members and leaders), and Rotary Volunteers.
Why? Because Rotary wants to stay connect with all of these people and youth because we should for lots of reasons, like expand one’s network and your world view, be one that makes lasting change in communities around the world.
Clubs and Districts can engage alumni by developing a plan to build strong relationships with our current program participants. Work with our district alumni chair to outreach. Ask alumni to join a Rotary or Rotaract club or encourage them to start a new club.
Jerald S. - Discussed the raffle to raise money for the Rotary. 10 bucks a piece for entry. Ask other Rotarians to buy the tickets from other clubs. The raffle is September 9th during golf tourney. There are 3k tickets that we need to sell.
Alexa R. - Next week there is a party for the upcoming governor of Rotary.
Mark M. - Summerfest has 20 volunteers. Still need more.
Cathy C. - Wednesday morning meeting is at her company next week. Everyone will get a tour. The address is 9901 W 74th St. There is plenty of parking.
Chris Carr - Friday is his last board meeting as President so please be there. Party at Maynards on June 30th at 4:30.

Frank B. The Wall Street Journal on the cover has a story about the rotary of Lake City, Minnesota. They made a cookbook since they could do their annual fundraiser. It is called Lake Pepin Cookbook.
Mac H. - Alexa made dinner and their were 15 people total and they had a great time
Alexa R. - Happy bucks for dinner with Mac and for Bill for giving tables for her garage sale

Patti S. - Kid graduated and food shelf going well.
Chris Carr - Was in WI with daughter and her friend. Kids had no electronics and it was super fun
