WHATS NEW:
Jacob – He saw Scott Nagel downtown, though he wasn’t sure so he didn’t say hi. He is back to traveling with his job. Gabe was selected for the Tonka banking champion, for 3rd to 8th graders. He did not place but he made an omelet and a brownie cake with cookie dough frosting. (See Jacob’s Facebook for cute Gabe photos)

Mark Marlin – He was in AZ last week golfing with Bob. He went hiking and did some touring.

Alexa R. – opted out for fear of getting yelled at for not completely reporter duties – people were feisty today 😊

Lenny – Grandkid update: Oliva – she is now 17 and she and Terry on the way to CA. She found a prom dress (Lenny skipped shopping for that to do the polar plunge)  Eric is 14 and is really into Basketball and just joined MN Hustle. Lenny is becoming a basketball referee.

Terry S. – 3rd oldest grandkid, Spenser, 25 proposed to his girlfriend. Spenser is the only grandson to be carrying on the Schneider name.  He also has the same birthday as Terry. Terry  has one granddaughter in NY in college, her father is running the NY marathon. So Terry and Beth will be flying out to NY to watch the marathon and spend some time on vacation. He is trying to retire but still has 5 clients. He really enjoys mentoring and has been doing that for sometime, he enjoys watching the people grow. He did this with a couple people in the 1980s and one just finished a couple projects together totaling over 150million dollars. Extra Credit – Read this article and report back during Happy Bucks for a coffee gift card – Article written by Terry in 2018

CHAR – Going with a friend to WI to see her son. Who will be feeding her Raman noodles. She said be careful this could come back to bite him. She is still loving living at the Moline. She gets her dog fix since about 1/3 of the residents have dogs and the others avoid all eye contact.

CATHY – Granddaughter at the UofM who is involved in exchange to Italy. She is currently taking 9 classes and got a B+ in Italian. So PROUD of her. Lots going on with all the wonderful golden grandchildren and they are all in MN. Did 3 hours of yard work followed by a nice “cup of tea”!

RON – Joined Minneapolis Business Mentors. He works with the TIA – it is all very secretive so ask him for more details. He has 15 grandkids running around the world. One is looking at law schools – Harvard, Sandford, Georgetown, U of Chicago!

Patti S – Doesn’t care about the Packers. Dylan will be throwing disk and Ali will be joining the softball team. Jackson is at college in Indiana, did a project on his grandfather, a business man who inspired him. They found memorabilia on eBay for her dad’s shop. She started an ETSY shop! She is doing a craft a week.

Scott Nagel – Going skiing with his full family and will get to see his daughter, it has been about 6months since he has seen her. He did see Jacob downtown while he and his son Isaac hosted a scavenger hunt for his nieces and nephews. He tried to winterize his own boat… he didn’t crack the motor – but his battery blew up! Send helpful hints on clean up!

Nancy – Daughter, Jane, can now drive a car. Carl, son, is transferring to Chicago and buying a house that might be a little more expensive then Nancy is comfortable with. She submitted the final report to the grant committee at the District, for the ICA van!

Bill – Had a birthday party last week with 11 buddies. He is so happy Char wont be here next week. Pat said the newest Sorterberg will be born around May 5th is about the size of a pineapple; he has been sending weekly fruit size updates.

Jennifer – Ryan is living and working at their house. Rachel is in her 10m of PA school. She will be moving back. She can’t wait to have the whole family around the dinner table.

Jerald – Vanessa just went back to AZ after being back for spring break. She is looking to go to Scotland for and exchange. Cameron turns 17 in a week; they don’t see him much. He works at Floyd’s in Waconia. He is starting track soon. Lilly is 11 going on 17 and is dancing all the time. Dance competitions are back on – she did 11 dances in one day! Vicki loves her work in special education. He is heading to Disney world with the family on Tuesday!

Tony – has a great pen holder, see him for more details. His family went to Hadetown, and him and his daughter saw Waitress together. Jake got a new car and was very excited. On Saturday, they are flying out to see his mom. They haven’t been west to see her since Jake was 4. (don’t worry his mom visited in the summers – kids had lots of grandma time)  Tony is looking good and impressing his wife with the new specs. Grand Valley State is the college choice for his daughter next year.

Dale – He started wearing glasses in 8th grade. He reminded us all to wear our glasses! Even though Dr. Bob tried to convince him of contacts many times, no such luck. Dale was a gymnast! Yes you heard right, he uses those skills to help his 9yr old granddaughter. When questioned about his gymnastic career his response was “Norwegian gymnastic.”

Chris Rosenlund – Axel is home from playing hockey and has his training schedule. He drives for Door Dash. Aubree is in quarantine in Spain due to a (+) COVID test.

Frank – 65 years ago his parents and his sister were living in Illinois. His dad was interested in starting his own business and the Antique Trader was born. His father ran it for 35 years and then they sold the business. It wasn’t glamorous but it was profitable.

Nate - $26 in polio – CASH CASH CASH for happy bucks!
