Announcements

Casey Schleisman gave a comprehensive announcement about the Sunset Hill Nature Center (SHNC). SHNC creates much needed outdoor learning space. In Fall 2024 Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) decided to focus SNHC to create positive space to grow and learn outdoors.  Casey is an at-large PTSA member.

Dana Diers spoke about the Floriane’s Nibakure Community Village (NCV) and what a wonderful community she has built in Rwanda.

Glen J. presented Floriane’s NCV a $20,000, OOPS a $2,000 check as a MRF grant recipient.

Chris R – Sponsorship has generated $32,600 toward a goal of $35,000

Ann W – Baskets with appropriate paperwork need to be turned in to Cathy C by next week

Cathy C – Two weeks left to turn in silent auction items

Tracey R – Need more alcohol donated

Jerald S – 270 raffle tickets sold to date

Jennifer S – 6 volunteer slots still to be filled

Bill S – plenty of libations already secured

Next L&L meeting scheduled for Thursday 9/4 5:30PM to 6:30PM at Hopkins Auto Body.
