  • Important meeting Sept 19th: server training by MN licensed Beverage Association – preparation for Rock the Ridgedale. All members urged to attend.
  • Community Service – ICA food shelf, September 8, see Christine or Jennifer
  • Golf Fundraiser – raffle tickets turned in today may win you $100 at the event. Also, sign up online if possible but please send Alexa a message if you plan to attend.

  • This Saturday is the Rocking Royal, $12 at the door. 6:30 Hopkins Centre for the Arts.
  • Polio Jug – fun facts shared

  • Cathy: husband’s birthday today
  • Terry: driving to college reunion
  • Mark F: went to Ohio and watched the twins, went to football and baseball hall of fame
  • Patty: brought oldest son to college, only received 2 texts. Son starting class today
  • Guy: Amanda came to Rotary today
  • Sam: glad to be back, taking care of 2 grandchildren in AZ, wife home for 2 weeks
  • Mary: been in club so long remembers Polio, visit cousin in Boise Idaho.
  • Ron: went to reunion and asked for someone’s black socks due to only having white socks
  • Lenny: nephew just moved out from sister’s house, his younger sister back to college, 2 grandchildren back to school, Evan will be graduating from U of Michigan a semester early.
  • Katy: daughter started 2nd year at Hamline, and son started at west JR high
  • Chris: Saturday some friends came down from Detroit Lakes to go to State Fair, daughter had 1st day of school yesterday, 8 days left for fundraiser
  • Bob: Gerald thanks for fixing car, daughter starts school again
  • Roger: owns large dog and not horses
  • Mark: gophers football winning, Mac taking care of Mayuka(sp?)
  • Katie: Painful time at Wells, Daughter is Katy’s daughter for teaching, oldest daughter went hiking in Yellowstone and had a great time and came home safe
  • Karen: celebrated 33rd wedding anniversary
  • Pete: working at Heimat fest making pots with kids
  • Gerald: 4 for the kids going back to school, doc prescribed reading glasses
  • Darlyne: joined 8 parkett’s last night
  • Nolan: went to state fair for Bennett’s birthday
  • Alexa: thanks for putting up with tweedle dee and tweedle dum
  • Mark M: thankful for Ryan’s life for 37 years and a 3-dollar tip since he was a server

Tech Dump – recycles e-waste products or resells those products while building a social enterprise.


Jobs Foundation is social enterprise that gives adults who have a barrier to entering the workforce a chance to enter the workforce known as a work readiness program.
