Mayuka Asai, our exchange student, gave a presentation about her homeland of Japan.

We all know there was a raffle, but the results are top secret.   You should have been there, it was awesome!

  • Alexa and Nolan:  Nolan lost a tooth.
  • Ron Levitus is happy about new grandson Ethan.
  • Ron Usem, always looking on the bright side,  is happy that the cold means no mosquitos, Asian beetles, etc.   He's also happy that his new business, Cargo Salvage Tech, has launched.
  • Mary Tambornino, queen of the ironing board at the Feb 23 Rotary Days for Girls event, is happy to be back from Phoenix where the weather was unseasonably cold (poor timing on Mary's part, the weather was great 2 weeks ago and the upcoming week will be nice also - ed).
  • Katie Williams is happy about the successful Days for Girls event, and for our foreign exchange students who bravely make presentation to us about their experiences in our community.
  • Glenn Juntti is happy that he was allowed to spend a couple of weeks in the Caribbean.   He noted that there was only 1 inch of snow on the ground here when he left.
  • Frank Babka is happy about an article in the most recent Rotarian magazine that discusses a project in Bolivia that a fellow Rotarian from a local club has helped lead.
  • Todd Moritz is happy that his dogs have recovered from a recent illness, and happy about being able to wear jeans because he's launched his own financial services - CPA firm.
  • Justin Clark is happy about a show that he went to in which he was invited to sit in the front row.
  • Ann Wengronowitz is happy about her 39th wedding anniversary.
  • Lenny Newman is happy that his dog has recovered from a recent illness.
  • Chris Carr is happy about a recent trip to Cabo in which his daughter found a new friend.
  • Pete Giancola is happy about the Wild's winning streak, a Grand Forks trip, his grandmother's recipes, and the progress on his pottery production location.
  • Christine Leick participated in a diabetes walk at Mall of America recently.  She and Guy Marzano are planning a 5 week trip, including stopping at Elvis Presley's home, Graceland.
  • Dale Feste is happy for the service of Peg Keenan and Tarrah Palm, and the other local person helping the people of our community.
