You never really know what peoples' real intentions are, but in Rotary we surround ourselves with good people who have great intentions.
Lenny Newman had a number of guests who came to hear our speaker, Anne Pryor, talk about LinkedIn. His guests included: Pete, Matt Stafford, Don, Ben Majar, Steve O'Neil, Judy Praska, Mark Felts, Erik, Brett, and Steve Williams.
King Petey was in charge of the raffle, with the lucky number held by Ryan, however that was all the luck that Ryan had, as $100 rolls over to next week.

Rotary has a new Leadership program, this will be available to 25 students this fall. There will be 5 sessions of 4 hours each and each student gets his or her own coach.
Save the Date: Club Visioning session will be held on April 30 from 5:15-8:00 PM. Dinner will be provided. The 5 year plan is on the agenda, and it will be held in the same room in which we hold our weekly meetings.
International Service: Our project in Rwanda has begun and Floriane updates Nancy each week on the Nibakure Community Village. Our contributions have helped to repair school buses, replace their greenhouse which was blown down by a wind storm, and to build a sun shelter for the playground. Foriane would love to have any Rotary members visit.
District Conference is coming up on Friday May 17 from 10-8:30 at the Minneapolis Events Center. Registration is not yet online.
Jerald Stiehle announced that the Polar Plunge is coming up this Saturday and it's not too late to sign up. Please refer to his email if you're interested.
Loaves & Fishes volunteer event coming up March 19. We need 2 people from 3-5 PM and 7 people from 5-7 PM. No, you are not on the menu, you will be prepping, serving and doing clean up. We do this 4 times a year at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church on Main Street in downtown Hopkins.

Freja is one of our exchange students, and she is from Denmark. Denmark has one of the world's oldest monarchies and is a constitutional monarchy. Freja is from the city of Hadsten, on the mainland peninsula. She is in 10th grade now and will have 3 more years of school when she returns. Her current school focuses on athletics, with a gymnastics/dance focus and she showed us a short clip of their 30 minute routine. Danish children will also learn English and German.
