New member Patricia "Tricia" Angulo described her upbringing in Nashwauk (Iron Range area), which lead to a life of creativity in the arts (acting, music, oil painting, sculpting, etc.), and then several decades of being a college professor in the Twin Cities.  She holds a masters degree and a doctorate, and has extensive experience in the areas of human resources training, conflict resolution, and mediation.  She has now gone on to start EdTrainU, an education consulting business to help academic and business entities deal with different cultures and backgrounds.   Tricia still is in touch with many childhood friends, and has long believed that people do best when they feel that others support them and want them to succeed.

Chris Rosenlund talked not only about his own life, but also mentioned some things about various people (friends and family members) who have inspired him over the years.   Chris' family moved frequestly, and when he was a "new kid on the block" in Oregon, he was befriended by a boy named Sam.   Years later, they still correspond daily and Sam has devoted much of his life to helping non-profits and needy people, and living by the motto of Service Above Self.

After attending Oregon State University, Chris had a variety of jobs in the fields of radio, political lobbying, trucking, and manufacturing sales.  He currently works for Insperity, a human resources and employee benefits company that strives to provide great relationships between companies and their employees, a tried-and-true formula for successful businesses.  Chris is very close to members of his family, and values our club motto, Building Responsible Youth.
