Influences: Mother, Grandmother, Uncle, African American man that picked him up, Art and Music teacher
Started getting attention from teachers, mentors, jealousy in the streets,
Moved to white suburbia Maryland in high school - He was the original Fresh Prince
He had a good friend that kept him in the arts, while sports pulled him another direction.
Took a security gig in Minnesota not knowing what he was in for.
He wanted to start with his local community and started working for the Hopkins School District Community Education running the before and after school program
He focused on arts athletics academics - became Dean.
Has 4 kids.
2018 - a position was created and in 2019 he became the community engagement supervisor - went around the city to talk to people in leadership
2020 - pandemic
