Program
Best Christmas Ever (BCE) - David Krause
Our speaker drove from Green Bay to present, but the organization is based in Duluth. BCE is a 14 year old organization.
BCE is a nonprofit helping famailies that fall on touch times through no fault of their own. Their mission is to create a life changing Christmas surprise recipients will never forget.
60% of recipient families are going through cancer.
The families have to have kids under age 18. All family members get 10 presents. The family that is nominated can't know - it has to be a secret. Most people are surprised at Christmas time.
They figure out what the family wants. The community raises the funds to give.
They've given away cars and even paid off mortgage. Last year they gave almost $2 million away and blessed over 300 families.
The Four Pillars: Faith Family Finance Health.
They give people hope.
Last year gave almost 2 million away.
They've ben in 17 different states, but want to have BCE in every state.
