By protecting our natural world, we support all six of Rotary’s Areas of Focus.
District 5950 is a world leader in meeting Rotary’s environmental sustainability goals.
In the past two years our members planted over 28,000 trees and chartered the new Twin Cities Rotary EcoClub. We now have a wonderful new opportunity. Steve Solbrack (EcoClub) was recently elected to the international board of directors of the Environmental Sustainability Rotarian Action Group (ESRAG).
ESRAG significantly impacts Rotary clubs, Rotary districts and Rotarians worldwide in: 
  • Planning, implementing and evaluating service projects  
  • Building awareness and inspiring action to promote  environmental sustainability 
  • Raising awareness of climate change 
  • Acting to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and
  • mitigate climate disruption.
Rotary District 5950 has set a goal: 100+ Rotarians join ESRAG. This would make us the leading district in the world. Membership costs start at $30 for a regular membership or $100 for a contributing membership. Check out  the benefits of joining ESRAG on the member information page.
