The Chairs of the "Show Your Colors" Flag project are closely monitoring the weather conditions for tomorrow's flag delivery and will make a decision this evening before 5:00 p.m. if flags will be put out in the morning. If you are on the list of volunteers for the project, we will send out an email blast and attempt to reach you by phone as well.

Several months ago, a set of car keys were left on a table following a meeting. It has a key fob that does not identify the owner, but the make of car as a Mercedez-Benz. It also contains other keys that appear to be for an office. Please claim if they are yours and please check if they might belong to a guest you brought to a meeting with you.
And, more recently, a pair of ladies sunglasses with prescription lenses were found also. Please claim either item by phoning the office at 409-842-1913. Thank you.

PROGRAM REVIEW
June 26, 2018
"Toasting - and a little Roasting - of Outgoing President Tim Sudela!"
Tim Sudela
2017-2018 President
Tim Sudela called the last meeting of 2017-18 to order and seemed to enjoy having the opportunity to make award presentations to many Rotarians in the room. Quite a number of members strive for Perfect Attendance each year and proudly accepted their recognition.
Moreover, several individual accepted honors of other kinds also.
Lynn Castle presented the 2017-18 Spirit of Rotary Award to Kathleen Alsup.
Tim Sudela announced the inaugural presentation of the "Rookie of the Year" Award to a person with less than a year of membership who had contributed significant service. The award went to Lynn Hill.
Paul Harris Fellows were presented by the President to:
Vice President Dana Timaeus,
Karen Bourdier,
to Denise Berry by Cindy Cherry,
to Jay Wilson,
to John Rollins by former Rotarian Joshua Taub,
and a Paul Harris +5 was presented to Ted Moor.
The evening ended with the frivolity planned for the evening: to video clips with a little "all in good fun" teasing of the outgoing president.
