The Rotary Club of Beaumont presents Beaumont Police Department Recognition Day.

This event will honor police officers for their commitment to keep communities safe.

On Wednesday, May 13 at noon at the MCM Elegante Hotel, The Rotary Club of Beaumont will recognize the Beaumont Police Department and its officers for their service and sacrifice to the community.

The Rotary Club of Beaumont and the Beaumont Police Department are tied together by a shared core value of “Service Above Self.” The men and women sworn to protect the communities are more than just police officers. They are our friends, neighbors, little league coaches, and Sunday school teachers. These brave officers are prepared to sacrifice themselves daily to keep us all safe.

BPD officers will be presented with special recognitions and awards. The Rotary Club of Beaumont will also present the Beaumont Police Department with a $3000 donation.

In attendance will be Beaumont police officers and their families, elected city officials, members of the clergy, and Rotarians joining together in a collective show of support for law enforcement.

Prior to the BPD Recognition Day, two Rotarians will participate in a ride-along with police officers to get a firsthand account on “the day in the life of an officer.”
