What a perfect start to the year of 2016! We welcome Rotarian Regina Lindsey as the first speaker of the year to share the goals and plans of the Greater Beaumont

Chamber of Commerce and the business community.

Regina Lindsey is the chief executive officer and president of the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce. Prior to her role as chamber president, Lindsey was the chief development officer and vice president of economic development for the Greenspoint District in Houston, Texas. Lindsey joined the District in 2009 in the joint role of manager of Greens Bayou projects for the District and executive director of the Greens Bayou Corridor Coalition (GBCC), a 501(c)(3) organization supported by the District.

Regina earned the designation of Certified Economic Developer from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). She currently serves as Vice Chair on IEDC's Public Policy Advisory Committee. Active in economic development efforts across the region, Lindsey works closely with the Governor's Office of Economic Development and Greater Houston Partnership's economic development team to attract business to the region.

The RYLA Team is loading up and preparing for their departure on Thursday for RYLA 2016!

On January 13, the RYLA team and students will be officially welcomed home from their weekend experience and the club will get to hear about it. This is always a great program with a number of guests invited to attend, including the students and parents.

If you can spare a lunch ticket or two in order for us to graciously accommodate these guests, please donate at the January 6 meeting or send to the office at your convenience.
