District Governor Demetress Harrell presented Cindy Cherry with a Paul Harris Society and recognized her as a Major Donor.

District Governor Demetress Harrell also presented Wes Shipley with a Paul Harris Pin with 3 rubies.

The members of this club recognized both of their efforts and contributions to the Rotary Foundation. The symbolism in this recognition is to say thank you for making a difference in your club and community and in the lives of less fortunate people in the world.

Congratulations!

PROGRAM REVIEW
February 8, 2023

Demetress Harrell
2022-2023 District Governor
District 5910
By Chris Ayers

Demetress Harrell is the current district governor for district 5910, which includes 41 clubs. Throughout her speech, Demetress acknowledged the work of our local club and the leaders of our club though out the years. Members who were recognized for their tireless work in spreading the goodwill of Rotary include Joanne Brown, Chuck and Becky Mason, and Roger McCabe. Furthermore, members who were recognized as major donors to the Rotary Foundation include Ted Moore, Arne Almquist, Cindy Cherry, Roger and Sharon McCabe and Chuck and Becky Mason. Finally, Mrs. Harrell, challenged us as a club to engage more Rotarians in the work that Rotary does including eliminating polio, protection of the environment, prevention and conflict resolution, and encouraging freedom and peace. Thank you to Demetress Harrell for her lively presentation.
