President Vernon Pierce has a fun new way to increase the Foundation coffers, and you can take part too! For a mere $20 donation to the Beaumont Rotary Foundation you can try your chance at being able to Stump Rotary! It's good friendly fun and we all get to know a little more about one another.
It's $20 to play. Send a photo of yourself from a few years back and some hints or clues that can be shared.
If no one in the room can identify you, you will stump Rotary. The honor comes with a handsome certificate, complete with the President's signature!
If, however, the members can name who is in the photo, you will NOT stump Rotary.
Who is this cute youngster who almost stumped the crowd?
The Club's Rotary Exchange student is welcomed to the United States, Texas, and Beaumont by her new Host Family, Rene and Liliana Greenwald. Rotary Counselor, Tillie Hickman, was also on hand at the Bush Intercontinental Airport to greet her. Catharina is from Brazil and we hope to meet her soon and learn more about her home.
Before coming to the meeting, clean out your desk drawers and the drink holders in your vehicle, and bring all that change to the meeting. Dollar bills and your checks to The Rotary Foundation are accepted too!Feed the Polio Pig! The effort to eradicate polio from the globe will continue until complete.
