Lynae Sanford
Executive Director, Lutcher Theater
By Joanne Brown and Tim Sudela
Past President Tim Sudela introduced Lynae Sanford, Executive Director of the Lutcher Theater, as guest speaker at the July 31 meeting of the Rotary Club of Beaumont. Rotarians Nate Jennings led the invocation, James Strawther led the pledges to the American and Texas flags, and Paul Koester introduced guests.
Ms. Sanford is a native of Orange with a background in sales and marketing. Her passion for theatre led her to the Lutcher Theater in August of 2009. Ms. Sanford initially served as their Marketing Manager, but quickly rose to the rank of Executive Director in April 2017. She also serves as the Marketing Manager for the Stark Foundation.
The 2024-25 Lutcher Theater season opens October 19 with the musical stylings of The Bacon Brothers. Michael and his famous brother Kevin have already produced seven albums. Two shows from the 2023-24 season are returning by popular demand: Come From Away on January 2, 2025, and Chicago on February 20, 2025. Single tickets go on sale August 19th. The Life and Times of The Temptations are booked for two performances January 14 and January 15, 2025. ‘The Cher Show’ is another show that the audience was encouraged to order tickets early for, and attend. More information about the Lutcher’s 2024-25 season can be found at LUTCHER.org.
