The Rotary Club of Beaumont celebrated their annual Holiday Party at the Art Museum of Southeast Texas on December 13, 2022. The party was chaired by honorary Rotarian Linda Domino and club Past President Joe Domino and a great holiday committee to create a fun and festive event for everyone.
By tradition, the club announced the club President Nominee at the Holiday party. Michael Perez, Business Development Manager at Gateway Mortgage Group, will serve as club President during the 2024-25 year. Perez, a Rotarian since 2008, has been involved in our local club as well as on the district level. Congratulations, Michael!
Many thanks to Rotarian, Dr. James Han who led us in several holiday carols. The Beaumont Rotary Chorus was a huge success. Dr. Han was assisted by pianist Dr. Betty Duncan, who is always a joy to have with us.
Dena Reed, owner of Dena's Sweetly Unique Cakes who provided a BEAUTIFUL cake for dessert.
Very special thanks to Rotarian Tim Sudela for serving as Joe’s Presidential Advisor and leading the meeting of the President’s Council to select the PN for the reveal and also for working with Lynn Castle to reveal the 2024 PN at the Holiday Party! Thanks, also, Tim, for capturing the entire event in photos!! If anyone missed the Holiday Party, viewing your pictures will make them feel as though they attended the party! I don’t think you missed anything or anyone! Great job!

Very special thanks to Rotarian Becky Mason for serving on the Holiday Party committee and securing Dr. Betty Duncan to serve as the pianist/accompanist for the Rotary and Friends Holiday Chorus and also for providing your home for the first Chorus rehearsal. Becky and Chuck were missed at the Holiday Party but they were definitely with us in spirit and in our hearts.
Very special thanks to Rotarian Kevin Reed (Reed Realty Group) for providing the amazing cake at the Holiday Party and to Dena Reed for baking and decorating the cake which was beautiful as well as delicious! Thank you for arranging for The Grinch to make an appearance at the Holiday Party and handle the judging for the Ugly Sweater Contest with the audience participation vote! Thank you, also, Kevin Reed, for providing the very special Eggnog – everyone who had some enjoyed it very much!

Very special thanks to Rotarian Terri Potter for securing the donation of the poinsettias from American Air Systems for the centerpieces for the Holiday Party and for delivering and placing the centerpieces on the tables along with the red crystals. The tables looked beautiful and some of the attendees were fortunate to win a poinsettia and take it home! Many thanks!
Very special thanks to Rotarian Lynn Hill for serving as a greeter and for encouraging attendees to purchase bottles of wine from the Wine Tree. Thanks to Lynn’s efforts and to Rotarian Kathryn Fuller who graciously accepted the assignment of serving as a greeter with Lynn Hill on the day of the event, nearly all of the bottles of wine were sold at the Holiday Party! Big thanks to Lynn Hill, Kathryn Fuller, Lynn Castle, and MiKayla Bourque and anyone else who helped promote the Wine Tree and to all who purchased bottles of wine!
