Mr. Halderman is owner of Halderman & Associates, a training company that teaches Anger Management and Emotional Control for stressful environments. Jim Halderman is certified through National Curriculum Training Institute (NCTI), the leader in the field of Cognitive Behavioral Change Programs, for court ordered, individual, and company challenges.
As a Rotarian of 29 years, Jim is a Past District Governor, District Peace Committee chair, and Ombudsman for District 5450.
Jim maintains his membership in the Rotary Club of Golden, Colorado and he will be joining us from his home in Colorado.

Volunteers are needed to help at the Beaumont Health Department, 3040 College St., with COVID vaccine distributions. They can use volunteers to assist the medical staff with the lines at check-in, walking patients to the assigned stations and those sort of tasks. (You won't be asked to do medical tasks that you aren't qualified to do!). Add your name to the volunteer list and indicate a good phone number. An administrator from the BHD will phone you and schedule a date and time that is convenient for you. At the current time, they are administering the vaccine on Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. They may extend to weekends as more and more vaccine becomes available.
Chair John Bullard reminds you to help make high school seniors aware that the application process for the Rotary Scholarship is open. Applications are due March 1.

Lynn was in a bad accident caused by black ice on the highway as she travelled to the Houston airport last Friday. She was taken to the hospital where she underwent tests and is home now, reporting being quite sore from the ordeal. Wishing you an easy recovery, Lynn!

Rotarians, we really need you to become a part of the weekly meeting! We need volunteers for leading the invocation and the pledges. Please consider volunteering! Look at your calendar and select a date that is convenient for your schedule. Red Badges are strongly encouraged to volunteer for this opportunity so you can move closer to your blue badge and members can get to know you better too.
The program on the Cattail Marsh scheduled for last Wednesday, February 17 had to be cancelled due to issues related to the severe weather conditions. Some members were dealing with property damage to their home due to frozen pipes and the fluctuations in Internet service made it impossible to plan for a meeting completely using technology.
The speakers, Christina Lokey and John Beaver, have agreed to present on April 7th.
